flying

I have a son that is a pilot, a nephew that is a jet pilot, I can trace our roots back to the flying Daugherty's a circus wing walking act. And there are several Daugherty's flying today. What was I to do?

Well, it has been a while since I updated my web page! Let me fill in a little.

I have something like 17 hours now as a student and have passed my FAA knowledge test, I have changed instructors, my new instructor is Lee Faulkner. I bought into a 1963 Cessna C172E and now I am part owner in a nice airplane.

We "Wright Way Air Venture" Have to give thanks to Bud, for he has been a great help in our getting an affordable airplane and our coming together as "Wright Way Air Venture"

Nov 26, 2007. I just finished my vacation I have re-scheduled with my instructor I will be flying again weather permitting starting next week.

Dec 4th, 2007 - I had to make a decision, after my vacation I had to think about my finances and I don't think I need to fly again until after I get a few doctor bills paid. My decision is to wait until after the first of the year.

Aug. 19th, 2008 - Well the C172 had to get an engine overhaul, yes the airplane has been down for a couple of months. I am now taking lessons with Dave Caum, in Dave's C152.
