Duties were to maintain Motorola Microwave system, State Police two way radios, System telephones and intercom systems at toll booths.
1997 - 2001
ARCH COMMUNICATIONS, SENIOR SYSTEMS TECHNICIAN -
Duties are to install and maintain paging transmitters in the northern third of the state. Maintain a 75,000 subscriber Glenayre paging terminal. Work with and resolve telco T1 and DID trunk problems. Train technical staff. Transmitters include Motorola, Quintron, and Glenayre in the mid and high band, VHF, UHF, and 900 Mhz.
1992 - 1997
EMERGENCY RADIO SERVICE, PORTABLE TECHNICIAN and MANAGER -
Duties included the repair of portable handheld radios to component level and the programming of these radios. Managing the Elkhart shop of eight personnel which included coordinating and scheduling of service, installations, and emergency calls. SMR site manager. Designing new systems and the Certification of installed systems. Maintaining two county 911 Centracom II systems plus one city Centracom II console for this Motorola MSS shop. Maintain Unipage, Page Bridge, and Zetron paging terminals.
